I just heard about this... Jody McCrea, actor and son of actors Joel McCrea & Francis Dee, died April 4 at his ranch in Roswell, New Mexico of undisclosed causes. He was 74 and was probably best known as the dim-witted by lovable "Deadhead" in the Frankie & Annette "Beach Party" movies of the 60's.
