I just found out that actress and former Mousketeer Cheryl Holdridge died about a week ago. The cause was lung cancer.
She was a talented and beautiful woman and I was saddened by the news.
Ms. Holdridge made several TV appearances on such shows as the "Adventures of Ozzie And Harriet", "Bewitched", "The Dick Van Dyke Show", and "Leave It To Beaver", among others. I realize Annette Funicello was the most popular Mousketeer, but my personal favorite was Cheryl. She had a radiant smile and always seemed so sweet.
Our loss is heaven's gain. Cheryl, thanks for all the wonderful memories you gave to us with your performances. You'll never be forgotten.
