Hi Roy: I couldnt agree more! I too wish we could go back to good ole fashioned coorespondence! Funny because, just before I went to the computer, I thought to myself, I really need to answer a letter I got in a Christmas Card regarding a dear Friend who had passed away several years ago and I didnt know. I had been sending Christmas cards every year since and its only this year that I got a reply from her Daughter who is about my age! I came up to the computer to get some writing paper since I had decided against using the computer to write the letter and I saw your post! I detest those "chain e-mails" also but get them often. Most of the time I just delete them but occasionally I will forward them if the content is a good one. I am at the point where I look at the subject and decide whether or not to open the e-mail but a few times, I decided not to open them and left them in my in box...weeks went by and then I decided to open them only to find that they were not what I thought they were! So now I open them and if it looks like a "chain e-mail" I will stop reading it before I get to the: send to 200 people etc!
I also get dozens of e-mails a day most of which I delete or ignore but occasionally there is one from a real person!! Times are changing too fast for me too!!!
