"Do Wah Diddy Diddy" by Manfred Mann. Their cover version topped the charts for two weeks in the Fall of 1964. The Exciters rendition of the song only peaked at #78 on the charts in January of that year. The Exciters biggest hit song was "Tell Him", which reached the top 5 in early 1963.
