Denny, thanks for passing along this sad information. My condolences go out to his family and friends.
It's a shame that he had to suffer so much in the final four and a half years of his life - and he won't be able to see the group get inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame.
I always liked their music and remember how popular the DC5 were during the early part of the British Invasion. The "Glad All Over" album frim 1964 was one of the first I ever purchased.
All of a sudden, it seems as if we're losing a lot of music and TV personalities that we listened to and watched when we were younger.
