George Osmond, father of nine who saw six of his eight sons and only daugher rise to international singing stardom, died Monday (11/5) of natural causes at his Provo, Utah home. He was 90.
In addition to sons Virl, Tommy, Alan, Merrill, Wayne, Jay, Donny and Jimmy and daughter Marie, Mr. Osmond is also survived by 55 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Olive, who died in 2004.
