Rockabilly singer Donnie Brooks, best known for his big hits "Mission Bell" and "Doll House", died of heart failure after a long illness on February 23. He was 71. Along with the hits, he made numerous appearances on "American Bandstand", appeared in the films "Get Yourself A College Girl" and "A Swingin' Summer", and is a member of the Rockabilly Hall Of Fame.
