I've got the new Avengers book and Carol is shown as just aching to take the fight to Skadi and her horde. She finally cuts loose and charges Skade, absorbing her energy until finally she blasts her at point blank range...Skadi is driven to her knees for a moment and then blasts Carol, sending her over the city. Well, Skadi's power is god-like and probably mystical. Carol doesn't do as well with mystical. The New Avengers show up and Danny pounds the hell out of Skadi. The Avengers think they've won, but Skadi tells them that this is just the prelude and teleports away. I'm just glad Carol got in as good a hit as could be expected and she's back for more by the end of the book.
: She wasn't very present in the last few issues
: of "New Avengers". Instead she has
: got quite a bit of panel-time in
: "Avengers". I haven't read
: Avengers 17 yet, but I've heard that she has
: a nice moment against Sin (or Skadi or
: whatever her name is). I'm wondering whether
: this is only a consequence of the overall
: plot of FI or whether this is a sign that
: she will switch the teams.

: Gee, wouldn't it be nice if they didn't put
: Ms. Marvel on the cover of the book when
: she's nowhere inside it? Huh?
