'Thick' is not my favorite description for healthy or athletic women. It's too broad and can apply to obese women too. It's also used to call people 'dumb'.

: Ms. Marvel has been rendered by legends like
: John Buscema, Jim Mooney, George Perez and
: countless others. None of these artists
: have ever drawn a scrawny Ms. Marvel. Their
: renditions have given us a very healthy
: looking Ms. Marvel. While Ms. Marvel is not
: jacked like She-Hulk, she obviously is
: "thick" on the muscle side.
: Wrecker isn't getting sand kicked in his
: face like out of an old Charles Atlas ad
: either.
:
: This might be a Bendis thing, as he did
: something similar a few years ago in the New
: Avengers Annual, when the Adaptoid Black
: Widow was attacking Ms. Marvel, who called
: her fat, and of course, Doom calling her a
: fat cow. Who knows, he might be spoofing
: the current culture that calls any healthy
: woman "fat".
