It seems Carol will have to retake the "Marvel" legacy from both Moonstone and Noh-Varr. But if she's had a hard time becoming 'the best of the best', what is she fighting for? The Capt. Marvel from the Secret Invasion was a Skrull. She seemed crushed by that revelation.
I think Carol should keep reinventing herself. If not by costume design, then by her actions. I actually like seeing her doing spy work. When the little Marvel figures came out I thought that 'superspy' tag was out of date. Now I think Marvel knew what was coming. But how will that determine Carol as a superhero? A spy who's also a superhero works as a secret identity. But as a modern superhero how does that work for Carol? Female spies are usually femme fatales.
