Its NO coincidence that Marvels Premiere Female is MS MARVEL..!

heh heh.. sorry but this aint 'Warbird Comics' its MARVEL Comics... and this is their Leading Lady.. she's smart, she's HAWT and she'll keek ur @$$... cos hey, this is Marvel comics & its what we expect..!

all jokes aside..

I'm totally fine with the Ms, or any other similar prefix - Mrs, Miss, Dr, Lady.. if Carol has earned anything over the years, its the right to stand on her own two feet DESPITE her beginnings as part of a strategic copyright claim..

oh and Warbird... loved that journey of hers that Busiek steered her through on Avengers, but she's grown waaay past that now.. having the name 'parked' the way Reed has is fine enough with me... just shows Carol has BUCKETS OF CRAZY lurking below the suface... eeeek!... and yeah, that costume has to be the single biggest miss-step she's had in a while... unforgivable to get rid of the Lightning Bolt - that is now HER icon - she's earnt it... and since when did our nigh-invulnerable, enegry-draining, fast / strong femizon need to sacrifice simple / classic fashion for gawdy body-armour that just seemed to crumple anyway..

For me, the classic black works SO well is cos Carol is Flashy-enough.. and an overly flashy costume would be just too much (surely we can spare Carol from too many fashion-sins..) check out that cover to #37... the deep-red, the flame-hair, the halo's of fire around arms/legs.. thats replaced #24 as my fave cover thus far
