For my bucks, Mary McCormack has already played Carol Danvers (i.e. blonde, tough, military intelligence operative) for three seasons of the West Wing.
Unlike a lot of contenders mentioned here she actually has the figure for the role, too. (Especially considering the way Ms. Marvel is repeatedly rapped these days as beind almost too curvy for her uniform.
However, like a lot of other actresses named here, McCormack is edging forty, if not a bit older. I have no problem with that, but producers might. Hell, even she might, considering the costume.
--Previous Message-- : I think Katee Sackhoff is an excellent : candidate. She's a terrific actress. She : could physically pull off the role, and : looks the part with the long hair she's : sporting recently. She's beautiful.
