Uh, thanks but I doubt they'll be giving Carol her dues. There's even reported reluctance to feature War Machine because they don't want to look like they're just producing a sidekick - which War Machine isn't.
I like Carol's comicbook origin, but aliens are pretty tricky to explain right now. If Carol is going to get her dues, it should be in her own film.
--Previous Message-- : Good idea about introducing her in Iron Man 2 : as an inquisitive CIA operative trying to : figure out what SHIELD is upto regarding : Stark and the Avengers initiative, BernieB. : Maybe during one of her stake out duties, : she spies something shady involving Tony and : a nemesis and she interferes and in the : process gets into an accident which gives : her her Kree(or whatever depending on the : movie plot) powers. That way Carol could : transition to her role as Ms.Marvel(this : storyline may spill over to the Avengers : movie to avoid complicating the IM2 plot) as : well as leave Stark with a guilty conscience : for letting something like that happen to : her and also be the beginning of a close : relationship between the two. What do you : think? : : --Previous Message-- : If the current news means anything, it's : doubtful Carol will be Ms. Marvel in any : first appearance. But I'd like to see her in : Iron Man 2 since they've already got ties to : the military there. Maybe she could appear : as an acquaintance of Jim Rhodes? Both of : them are pilots, and maybe Carol is a C.I.A. : operative who's trying to find out what : SHIELD is planning with the Avengers : Initiative. : : :
