Good idea about introducing her in Iron Man 2 as an inquisitive CIA operative trying to figure out what SHIELD is upto regarding Stark and the Avengers initiative, BernieB. Maybe during one of her stake out duties, she spies something shady involving Tony and a nemesis and she interferes and in the process gets into an accident which gives her her Kree(or whatever depending on the movie plot) powers. That way Carol could transition to her role as Ms.Marvel(this storyline may spill over to the Avengers movie to avoid complicating the IM2 plot) as well as leave Stark with a guilty conscience for letting something like that happen to her and also be the beginning of a close relationship between the two. What do you think?
