How excellent was this issue...how chilling was this issue?!? First the standard superhero stuff: The Bronze Age flashbacks were rendered amazingly by Buscema and Frenz. I miss that artwork, as it holds up past all the super detailed art of today. That said, Adriana Melo's art is amazing as well. Her Ms. Marvel is beautiful and strong, a true heroine who kicks butt with no hesitation.
The All New All Different X-Men Skrull...talk about cheating! He gives a clue to Ms. Marvel: "You smell of Kree". Well, that rules Ms. Marvel out as a Skrull. But..there is a Skrull parading as Carole. Who is she?!?
WHO'S ON THE PHONE?!? What a very scary sequence. Ms. Marvel racing to William as he is screaming and someone who looks Carol is killing him as she tries her hardest to prevent it. And Agent Sum with a rifle that will end her...talk about cliffhanger ending!
Seriously, more people need to read this book. After issue #25, it really is a necessity.
