When Carol was Warbird and I was not reading comics (I started reading in 2003-2004). I found it on Newsarama, but I don't have any other clues other then it is from around the time she was showing up drunk in Iron Man, I think. If anyone has firm intel, feel free to let me know, since I did not read those issues.
And I did not buy the alcoholism, either. If She-Hulk cannot get drunk and Wolverine cannot get drunk (along with Spider-Woman), then why in hell would a woman who can absorb massive amounts of energy become an alcoholic? Emotional issues, absolutely. But alcoholism? Weak sauce.
