Carol's relationship with her parents (at least her father) was strained LONG before that.
In any case, whether or not the situation was ever repaired, the relationship between them is good enough that Carol was able to live with them for several months, years after the Rogue assassination attempt. She had been living with them for months at the start of AVENGERS vol.3.
Your original comment was that you weren't sure if she'd be able to turn to them for help--apparently she can, since we've seen her do it before.
