Wow what an issue! Ms. Marvel bonded with Cru discovers that Cru volunteered to undergo a brutal transformation(kinda like ROM, in a sense) into a killing machine to avenge the death of her family at the hands of the Brood. Cru keeps on taking over her and her body, while Carol's past selves keep on showing her the truth of the matter: That Carol and Cru are exactly the same; the woman warrior who became a killing machine.
And Ms. Marvel is revealed to be much more then her powers, that her power is not just to be liked at and be thought of as pretty. She is a warrior personified, touched by the noble Kree and capable of so much more then flying about wallowing in self pity and doubt. A wake up call, no doubt, to embrace what she is and not what she wants to be, because she already is all that she is. If that makes sense.
The Brood Queen that Carol killed as Binary all those years ago in UNCANNY X-MEN is alive and well, and wants Ms. Marvel's and Cru's blood. How is this possible!?!? Next month we shall see!!
