Wow, cannot believe this book has lasted this long. Looks like it is going to outlast the original 70's series. So much for all the naysayers who wanted this to fail from day one. Oh well.
I do believe that Cru is only female in Carol's mind, as has been pointed out. Interesting that Carol will live longer then normal, and now has even more powers beyond reason, I like how it is "unknown if this is good or bad". The dichotomy of Ms. Marvel and Carol Danvers being the same is indeed lost on Cru, interesting to bring that point up from so many years ago.
Machine Man wearing Monica Rambeau's old Captain Marvel costume in a LMD body?!? Can this book get any better? Hmm, I do wonder if Monica Rambeau will ever appear in this title, the real deal, not her LMD body.
A Brood Queen against a depowered Carol Danvers? Do the Brood retain racial memories of their past defeat at the hands of the X-Men and Binary? The Brood who came with the Hulk's Warbound remembers the destruction of the Broodworld by the X-Men. I believe this Brood also was pulling Ms. Marvel by her hair along with the rest of the fallen heroes.
An excellent issue, cannot wait to read the rest!
