This issue didn't have any action in it, despite the cover, so it wasn't as exciting as this book usually is, but there was still a verbal confrontation between Ms. Marvel and Arachne that made for some interesting reading. And I like the fact that Arachne refuses to forgive and forget what Carol did to her, rightly so. However, I didn't like that Arana had beaten Arachne, especially since nothing was shown so we don't know how it was done, and this just re-enforces my belief that Arana doesn't belong in the title, that she's in the way. Meanwhile, Modok has returned, and I have full trust in Reed to write an amazing story around him, especially since he handled the action-packed return of the Doomsday Man so expertly. And Aaron Lopresti's art is simply amazing. I miss de la Torre, but Lopresti is definitely the man for the job!
: I know I did, and I know I LOVED IT! From
: Arana putting the beat down on a jacked up
: Arachne (Julia Carpenter), to the AIM
: conspiracy growing and growing, to the last
: panel in the book...absolutey fabulous!
:
: The tension between Julia and Carol is
: quite intense, and while the offer to go to
: OMEGA FLIGHT was generous, Julia doesn't
: seem like she's out for forgiveness...even
: though it was her own fault for what
: occured. Some people just have thick heads,
: I guess.
:
: Either way, great issue, great story,
: great artwork! What does everyone else
: think?
