Posted by BernieB on 12/22/2006, 9:58 pm, in reply to "This is as close to a "Dark Carol" as we'll ever get (SPOILERS)" I don't know if fans (especially Rogue fans) have read this yet. But I enjoyed it a lot. I don't see this Dark Carol being some evil doppleganger or antithesis in the future. But with her kil score she's definitely a threat. Hank is a good friend of Carol, and a fellow Avenger. I doubt he'd be holding a grudge as we'd imagine. --Previous Message--

Brian Reed hinted that Mystique appear to get revenge for her daughter. But don't you find it amusing that Carol will be leading the Mighty Avengers, while Rogue has a team that could be seen as the new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants? So that's one fight I'd like to see.
: This was a VERY good issue, and it shows
: that I wasn't too off the mark with my
: "What Ms. Marvel must do" post,
: about the darkness inside every hero. It
: showed how close Ms. Marvel was to totally
: losing it, to almost becoming like the Dark
: Warbird, per se.
:
: What does this bode for her relationship
: with Hank McCoy? It seems that he didn't
: even want her around the X-mansion, as she
: skirted too close to the edge of darkness,
: like Dark Warbird. And her and Rogue? What
: will happen between them?
:
: One of the best Ms. Marvel comics I've
: read, hands down.
