I still check in from time to time. In fact, Molly has a new little baby brother. He is now 13 weeks old and a black tri. I think he is going to be at the larger end of the standard or maybe a Bernese snuck in! Full of the devil, but basically a laid-back kind of personality. My daughter got a red tri male from the same litter. This gives us sisters from the same litter(Molly and Sierra, who are almost 7) and brothers who are the new pups(Darby and Dinali). We also rescued a gorgeous red merle male from the pound for my daughter's in-laws. He is 3 and has an absolutely wonderful personality. The kids had to sleep outside the pound's gate overnight to make sure they got him. The next person came to try for him at 4am and 6 more followed by 6 am. I don't know why his previous owners didn't claim him, they were notified(he was chipped) but they declined. It may be the $300 bill that had run up on him. He now has a great home in Berkeley, Ca. So much for news from So, Calif.
