Well I know that some breeds seem to take longer for the training to "stick". I wonder if folks see clicker trainers with the herding breeds and figure that all clicker training should go that fast. When it doesn't it's because it "doesn't work" on their breeds. On the contrary I would think a "stubborn" breed would respond better to being "asked" to do something rather than forced, if that makes sense.
Heck if I can have a client clicker training a Shih Tzu in the span of a week ANY breed can learn it! I just think some breeds are a little more easily distracted than others.
