Back from the vet...they squeezed us in this morning, despite being booked up until Monday. (I love them!)
They shaved his face, poked around and gave him Deramaxx for 5 days and Clavamox for 10 days. It's infected, but they don't think he needs a drain put in. They said he was REALLY good for them. 
Such a good boy! And only $88.00!
He's now swollen with purple/red skin...he looks more pathetic now!
And I'm officially broke until the end of the month...since I had to get gas on the way home too! :dance: But Rip's happy and doing well...even chasing Score's basketball when we got home (idiot)
