How old is Mousie now? Nickel's coat has just gotten more and more awful as he has hit late middle age (9). It's thicker and it doesn't actually fall out as easily, so it's all on him and gets matted. And he hates being brushed. Great. By the way, he still sheds plenty, but he has so much hair that it doesn't really reduce the matting.

The only thing that really works -- partly because he will sort of tolerate it without making the whole experience a misery -- is the super powered dog dryer. I wish I could afford one!

I'm still working on my shaving project.
