I had to euthanize my 9 year old last spring due to a tumor that was bleeding out (probably lymphoma of some sort) in his chest. I have his full brother from a litter previous to his who is doing fine at nearly 12. Ollie has some very beginning kidney issues (age-related), had a MCT removed about 2 months ago, and has some arthritis, but is otherwise mentally and physically very healthy. Their mother was 14 when she died.
Longevity is something that good breeders look to maintain in their lines, but even so, individual dogs vary so widely that even within litters life spans also vary quite a bit. There's not really any sure way to know, unfortunately.
