My point in asking is that there was 1 occasion (out of around 15 or 20) that I had my father pick the dog up, & on said occasion the vet diagnosed a heart-murmor. I wasn't there that day, but every time I've taken him thereafter they have assured me that they detect no murmor. Now I read that dogs with this condition are commonly culled, and I'm wondering whether I should be alarmed or what? Is a murmor something that comes & goes, or was it a misdiagnosis on a particular day by a young vet? Otherwise, my dog is healthy as an ox, 85 pounds, loves chasing deer & squirrel, etc.
