I am outside the box, I am much more for the dogs being great pets and enhancing the lives of their new families rather than their having perfect conformations.
So, if you are willing to breed with the likelihood that the lineage may not result in great show dogs, and if you are willing to simply find good homes for litter, then my vote is to go for it !!
If anything more comes of it that will just be gravy.
PS - Take this from whence it comes. Yes, my Roo was a show dog (didn't win anything despite very good manners in the ring because his rear conformation wasn't right), but I only showed because he was the one I wanted from the litter & he happened to be show quality.
