I just wanted to update on the reoccurring dremel issue.
What I've noticed is that your typical dremel gets very hot after a while which translates to the dogs foot eventually(they no likey).
Where you hold the dremel also doesn't help because the vents are usually at the back and front and you end up covering them with your hand which heats it up even faster. This not only hurts your dog but your dremel too. They are also not easy to hold with dog that is constantly moving her feet.
So I've invested in the "flex shaft". Not only is this easier to hold while grinding nails it's doesn't heat up nearly as fast as the dremel itself and the dremel stays cooler since it's away from hands and usage and gets a better airflow.
It also keeps the motor (aka NOISE) further away from the dog so they aren't as bothered by it. Or I should say, at least my own chicken isn't.
And as always I confine her to the small bathroom. It works as she realizes she has no where else to go and pretty much gives up trying to escape. Sure, she may try to shimmy along the wall a bit but she goes nowhere. less injuries to you! haha
Anyways, I thought I'd add that to the dremel issue. FLEX SHAFT, the way to go!! I love it!
