Hi Alyssa,
I wanted to let you know the outcome. We did get a 14 weeks old puppy. Her name is Lily. Cash is really doing well. He plays with her, keeping in mind he is probably 5 times bigger than her.
He goes in the other room only if he has had enought puppy play. It is such a joy to see him play. He was so abused and was afraid to play.
So we are all happy.
