I was going to suggest doing a thyroid workup. Hypothyroidism can cause cold intolerance, heart arrhythmias, ataxia. Those aren't the most common problems that would be the first noticed, especially in dogs, but it's worth a look into, especially since it is known that Ridgebacks are prone to thyroid issues.
