Thanks Alyssa, it is still comforting to hear from you! His heart rate is now just slightly above normal and although he was pretty lethargic most of the day, he seemed progressively better and is acting pretty normal now. Appetite not affected whatsoever - so we're hoping it was something else, pain perhaps, causing the elevated heart rate. I'm pretty relieved he seems more comfortable. Will let you know how it goes. I hate mysteries!
