We recently lost our 12 year old female Bobbie Jo. We also have a 3 year old male Cash, that is a rescue. They were together about 16 months. With Bobbie Jo being older when we got the male it was hard for them to really play. They did get along and played until she would get tired. Cash has a few issues. We think he was very badly beaten and is so cautious with everything. Our uncertainty is if we were to get a new puppy,what would that do to Cash. We would hope that it would help him be more a relaxed dog. We will also have 2 in our family.
We are just not sure if we should attempt the puppy just yet. It has just been a week since we lost our girl. He seems to be lost.
