I just got around to reading some of the entries. Tchaka's a wordy little fellow! 
What a fun, dog-friendly life you have! I would think that the skills for hunting would evolve very naturally and be easily shaped in such an environment. My 3 are totally jealous -- especially of your pork freezer! 
And of course, your animal crew is gorgeous!
