Wow -- sounds like a scary diagnosis! Yep, when a Ridgeback refuses a meal, there's something wrong! I hope there be won't be permanent damage to Roo's heart.
Did the vet check out Roo's teeth? I ask because of the link between the oral health and cardiac inflammation, both in humans and animals.
