What was wrong with Roo? Did he get into something he shouldn't have? I'm glad he's feeling a little better. The last time we had fevers was when we had the foster dog with distemper. Not fun. I hope that wasn't the situation for Roo.
I wouldn't bother with yogurt since the level of living cells in yogurt aren't high enough in order to re-colonize the gut after strong antibiotics. He'd have to eat a LOT of yogurt...and that would have its own digestive issues associated with it. I would get a human-grade probiotic (get one with multiple strains in it, the higher # of guaranteed live cells, the better) and give it to Roo 2 hrs. after each antibiotic dose -- you don't want to give them at the same time since that would defeat the purpose. Give probiotics for 1-2 weeks after the antibiotics are done, too. I use the Natural Factors brand, but any high quality brand will do -- they must be refrigerated in most cases.
Keep offering lots of fluids like watered down broth, too.
