Glad you found out what it was and I hope that the thyroid meds do the trick. It sucks that so many RRs are hypothyroid, but thankfully it's a relatively easy solution.
You might want to let her breeder know what her diagnosis is. Also, I would strongly encourage you to include your girl's data in the RR Health Survey:

DNA swabs on hypothyroid dogs are needed for study and are available at no charge to you. Discounted thyroid testing is available through Dr. Dodds if you allow a sample to be used for research purposes.
And, ALL Ridgebacks should be entered into the survey, not just those with health concerns. Which reminds me...I need to go update my 3!
