The results are in … she has hypothyroidism. Her T-4 was low at .6 (I’m told normal is 1-4). Her Free T-4 was in the normal range – at 11. The vet didn't want to run the full panel at first. He wanted to see what the T-4; Free T-4 results came in at before we continued to test.
She’ll be put on medication and be tested again in about 2 weeks. We'll keep monitoring her and I'll update periodically.
