I have one I use in the back yard- it' a Coolaroo. I want to say I got it at PetEdge? It has held up pretty well for intermittent use (I cannot TELL you how picky Kibu is about where he deigns to rest- and he actually likes this one.) The large beds will flex a bit when picked up and moved, whereas the pvc type beds are a little sturdier. I did have to use a little screw-lock, as the screws will loosen over time. The Kurandas are much better quality, and of course, much more expensive. A friend that has a kennel full of English Cockers bought several of them when she got her first cocker 15 years ago, and they are all still in daily use. One other suggestion would be to look at dog shows- several vendors at shows I've been to recently have had their pvc type beds on sale for pretty good prices, and they are made similarly to the kuranda.
