What dishes are you using to feed them in? I was told not to use plastic bowls, as they can chew on them, making holes/dents that bacteria will get into. Then, when they eat or drink and their chin touches the side of the bowl, the bacteria can cause pimples. If you are using plastic bowls, try switching to stainless steel and see if that helps.
