Neither of mine are show dogs, either. Max's dad is an Int'l BIS / Int'l Champion and Max looks just like him, right down to the white back toes - but he doesn't have a ridge. Cliffy is a Humane Society rescue, also ridgeless & exact heritage unknown. We tell him he's a Ridgeback from the wrong side of the tracks!! It makes no difference to me - we love them both just the same!
Don't feel bad about not posting pics. I've been a participant here even longer than that - and I've never done so, either!
