Hi Matt,
That's a great suggestion! Of course, the butter couldn't be too soft....
A couple weeks ago Nelson grabbed a whole cube while I was cooking, but I wrestled him down and got it out of his mouth before it disappeared. Since it was my last cube, and only family was eating that night.... I (don't tell, now!) smoothed out the bite marks and put it back on the butter dish.
