Its been about 3 weeks now that hes been doing this. Whenever he lays down he starts incessantly licking and gnawing his paws. At first I didnt really mind it but its worrying me now because he seems obsessed with it. Its also annoying because he leaves big wet spots on the bed and the couch when he does this.
I recently changed lifestyles because I used to take him to work with me all the time and now that I have a new shop, I do not take him due to their restrictions on pets. He has been staying home alone, and I think maybe its anxiety that's causing this.
I dont really know what to do though. He doesnt play with toys and Im not in a position to get him a buddy to play with. I dont want this to get worse. Can you guys help?
