Ohhhh....liquid Pepto BAD Sara. I only use Pepto if nothing else is working...even with an upset tummy I try to squeeze a little cheese on a tablet so they will take it. They HATE the taste of the liquid Pepto. Picture me, holding one of my dogs in a corner, legs wrapped around their chest to keep them as still as possible, syringe of pink awfulness in one hand, other hand keeping their head back, shooting it down their throat as far as I can with a syringe, holding their mouths shut and rubbing their throat to stimulate swallowing, and I still have long slobbery, foamy strings of pink goo sliding down the walls, cupboards, stove, whatever....
I give my dogs lemon Maalox. They love them. And I just hope that takes care of it...not easy to give liquid Pepto to a 70+ lb. dog that doesn't want wintergreen breath
