I e-mailed you privately, but in case anyone else is interested, 8 weeks is the timeframe that it will be before Harley is safe from not being able to breed. I did not know this before...I guess I always assumed once the guilty parties were "removed" that they would be okay after recovering from the incisions. I'm glad I asked her 
And from what I understand, Harley's owner was surrendering due to moving to a different state. Sad...he is an awesome dog.
