This is not exactly on subject, but certainly associated:
Our male RR, who'll be eight years old in February, has just developed a difficulty urinating. The procedure takes him an inordinate length of time, and he goes often, although he can see through long nights, with no problem, and he appears not to leak indoors.
At the start of this development, his urine contained blood, but only that once. Our vet's examination ruled out a bladder infection, and apparently the prostate wasn't to blame. The theory is that a small, soft mass has formed in the vicinity, but not attached, to the urinary tract.
(He does drink an awful lot of water).
Have any of you wonderful people come across anything like this, and, if so, what was the cure? Thank you for any comments.
