Puppies *do* lose their puppy coat, but not usually to the degree that you would see their skin peeking through. I'm not sure about whether this could be related to the antibiotics or not. It seems more likely that it might be demodectic mange. I suspect Alyssa might be able to shed some more light on this issue.
In any case, I wouldn't get on board the freak-out train just yet. A watchful eye may be called for for a few days.
