That sounds scary..thank God for the dogs. With desperate times, people are getting more braisen(sp?). I have 2 RR. Almost every morning this summer I took the dogs to the beach while my girls (11 &13) stayed home in bed. Well, the other day my husband took my girls to help my sister with a garage sale, then proceeded to the beach to run the dogs. We usually stay for about an hour. Do you believe we were robbed!!! This was a Fri morning. We didn't discover it until Sat when I went to put jewelry away and found all my other jewelry GONE!!Well thank God my girls weren't home!! As I was airing out the house that Sun. I found the screen of the window they came through, it was put back on , but upside down, and a clip that holds the screen in had broken and was on the window sill. The front window to my house! This was between 9-10 am !! We also live on a busy road, our landscaping is low and well maintained. Well,jewelry can be replaced. They did catch the thieves, and he was wearing my husband bracelet, and she (his accomplice) had on my watch!! I NEVER would of thought my home would EVER be robbed with my 2 boys around, they sound so vicious when people walk by.This apparently was just a random hit. They saw the window open, came up rang the door bell, no answer...ok they just let themselves in! It is such a creepy feeling!! So please lock and shut all windows! I know it is such a pain in the neck, but worth it! Oh I now have a alarm system as well as the dogs!!
