Our two have a young wheaten for a playmate and have adored him. He's now 6 months old and they have become less tolerant of his "in your face attitude" and have begun teaching him some manners in that ridgeback way. However they do come across dogs they could care less for and I've never been able to figure them all out. They're definitely not fans of a huge english mastiff in our neighborhood, but it may be because in doggy land he's quite rude. His owner always says he's so friendly, but he's really being very pushy with other dogs. He's able to because of his 200lb size! This reminds me of another good article I'll post a link for. Maybe the wheaten wasn't minding his manners somehow?
