That's interesting; the spots that Lucy leaves are very diluted. There usually isn't much of a urine smell. And like Zoe, a few weeks can go by without a noticeable problem, and them bam! Lucy will leave a few spots in a few days. My husband thinks we should just relax and keep an eye on her. He thinks maybe she is just dreaming or even that she smells a previously soiled spot in her sleep and that causes her to release more urine.
She's 18 months old; she was spayed at 10 months. It's hard to say for sure when I first noticed the problem. Maybe 3 or 4 months ago? Now that I think about it, we moved into our house in May, and it started shortly after that. Because when I first noticed a spot on the couch after she'd been sleeping, I assumed Lucy had been startled awake, and being in a new home, was a bit anxious.
